We're back with the next instalment of our ongoing duet project, sharing the love we have for classic country harmonies and vintage songwriting. Backed by a killer band of some of the best musicians and friends, spilling off the stage at the best local music hang east of Main Street.

This time around the centrepiece of the night will be Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton’s second record “Just The Two Of Us”, played in its entirety front to back. 

This out-of-print LP from 1968 featured a few songs that went on to become favourites of the Porter & Dolly catalogue, but the lesser-known and completely forgotten tracks hold some really nice discoveries we think you might enjoy as much as we did unearthing them.

And if that's not enough, it's fair to say this'll be the only opportunity this month to hear a doleful monologue about the children dying some awful fateful death while a pedal steel sighs in the background.

Once again it’s a hot band, so much fun to play together - the special expanded East Van Country Band including Kathleen Nisbet on fiddle, Patrick Metzger bass, Scott Smith pedal steel, Barry Mirochnick drums, plus more.
